Krishna Rayapudi, MD, DABOM

Krishna Rayapudi, MD DABOM, is an experienced Board-Certified Gastroenterologist. He also specializes in Obesity Medicine and is an American Board Of Obesity Medicine Diplomat. Dr. Rayapudi sees patients at Aliva Weight Loss in Hilliard and Columbus, Ohio, and also serving residents in the greater Columbus area. He is a pioneer in minimally weight loss procedures in Ohio. 

Dr. Rayapudi is an experienced Gastroenterologist who has worked in all settings, from big cities to rural environments, big group and small group practice, startup practice, and locum tenens.

He worked as a Gastroenterologist in 5 different states so far, in addition to training in Kansas and New York City. He provides honest and compassionate care to the Central Ohio Community and particularly to Columbus/Hilliard and Columbus, Ohio, at Aliva Weight Loss.

After earning his medical degree in 2002 from Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Rayapudi completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2009 at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in New York and a Gastroenterology fellowship in 2013 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Rayapudi was initially Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2009. He is also certified by American Board of Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology) in 2013 and American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2023.

Dr. Rayapudi addresses challenging cases with a caring bedside manner. He is the CEO of Gastro Office and Hilliard Endo Center as well. The company and his personal motto are the same — Love and Service.

He loves dealing with every and any kind of patient and feels competent to handle a variety of obesity problems. His special interests include minimally invasive weight loss procedures.

Dr. Rayapudi is married with two beautiful children. He sees Elon Musk as a role model and is a fitness and longevity enthusiast. When he's not caring for patients at the Gastro Office, Dr. Rayapudi loves to explore Columbus, Ohio.
